Chronology

The story follows two colleagues who struggle with the same issues about their sexuality in different ways. Sex (2024) centers on two middle-aged men who work as chimney sweeps. The film focuses mainly on the conversations they have with each other and their wives. One man confesses that he had sex with another boy while working with a client, while the other man repeatedly dreams that David Bowie is looking at him as a woman. Despite these experiences, both men consider themselves straight. The story explores how the first man found the experience pleasurable and questions whether having casual sex with another man is cheating. This leads to long discussions with his wife. Meanwhile, the other man notes that his voice has changed, wondering if it has become more feminine. Basically, this is a full two-hour film with no clear ending or resolution. The acting was decent and the dialogue was never boring, although they tended to go in circles a bit.
